Cirio Crushed Tomatoes (Passata Rustica)

Product Description

The San Marzano variety of tomato is very fleshy, has few seeds and delivers a rich flavor. Cirio uses a hybrid variety which offers the same eating quality and flavor, and they use this special variety to create their famous "passata rustica", a thick tomato sauce made only of crushed tomatoes, which can be used for pasta, pizza, sauces and more. The sauce is richly texture, from one single straining and has that home-made consistency that we all love.
